While my dad worked, and my brother was lord knows where, I would go to this mall within walking distance. By the way, all the talk of malls in the Last to be First thread is what got me thinking about this. But what I really liked was the Pizza Hut across the street from the hotel. I remember going there and having a personal pan pizza. I just thought this was the coolest and most grown up thing I'd ever done. To go to a restaurant by myself. Of course in this day and age, no one would let their ten year old have that kind of freedom, certainly not in an unfamiliar city. But times were different. Eventually my dad's conference or whatever ended and we went to Disney World. I literally don't remember a single thing from the Magic Kingdom. But I remember the restaurant and especially the pool at the Polynesian Resort. Cool pool, with a water slide that looked like it was built into a mountain. Anyway, though I don't remember a thing about my only childhood visit to the WDW Magic Kingdom, that little pizza sure did make a lasting impression.

Can you imagine Mater holding out for co-writer or executive producer to get him in the Cars sequel? Buzz Lightyear, claiming production on Toy Story 3 would interfere with touring for his debut album, is believed to be demanding that he be allowed to direct the next installment of the popular series. Sheriff Woody, on retreat at a Buddhist monestary in Nepal following his break up with Bo Peep, is rumored to also want a turn in the director's chair. Said co-star Hamm: "They're both brilliant. I'd love for either of them to direct. Just don't make me work with that Mack guy from Cars, or P.T. Flea from A Bug's Life. Those guys are jerks."
