The funny thing, the IRONIC thing is people had tried desperately for two YEARS to paint Obama as this guy with a closet full of secrets and issues. Palin was VP nominee for exactly two months and 5 days and more stuff fell out of that closet than her entire Neiman Markus collection in that short time. Two YEARS of that will just be priceless fodder for all around. All the incoherent and looney gaffes she displayed in 2 months of very FEW interviews, can you imagine months of interviews, debates and REPUBLICAN attacks? Man, that will be priceless. Sure, she would be 'better' at interviews, more knowledgable, but you still can't hide idiocy. Rocks for brains would not last under the national media spotlight for very long. Look, on a state level with a veeeery tiny and conservative population for the most part, she's fine. But on a national level where things get 100 times more complicated, no way! This woman incompetence is waaaay too high to be taken seriously. But I have a feeling in about a year from now, Palin will fade from the 2012 spotlight anyway. I'm not saying she would go away, she will ALWAYS have a political career...its the beauty of America, as long as enough people agree with your politics you will stay in power. But the talk of running for PRESIDENT is utter lunacy IMO and its been litterally 3 days since election, so everyone's nerves are still raw. Again, I remind people there was talk of Howard Dean running again after 2004 and look how that turned out lol.

Scary, eh? Then, she'll bide her time and keep building her kooky "base", until 8 or 12 years from now she can make a legitimate (I use the term loosely) run for the White House. If she tries for 2012, she's even dumber than I think she is. As others have said already, the Republicans themselves have ample ammunition to tear her to shreds before she even says "hiyya" to any Democrat four years from now. Almost makes you hope they DON'T expel the criminal, eh?

Well, you still got the arrogance thing going for you, I'll say that. <<Second, have you seen any indication (let alone evidence) that he's not conservative on social or fiscal issues.>> <Have you seen anything that Andrew Sullivan has written in the last two years that indicate he's a conservative?> We were talking about Adelman there, not Sullivan. But nice attempt at misdirection. Which tells me that you, in fact, couldn't find such an indication on Adelman. <<I would guess, without really knowing - you just wanted to contradict me when you realized your claim that "no real conservative would endorse Obama" was ridiculous>> <My claim was not ridiculous.> Considering I named half a dozen self-described conservatives (and could have named more) who DID support Obama... yes, your claim that no "real" conservative would endorse Obama was ridiculous. <<On most of those issues, you essentially positioned yourself slightly to the left of the most rabid right.>> <On all of these issues, I am to the left of the far right, which makes me not on the far right.> You're to the left of the rabid right, but still firmly within the far right. I know, I know. You probably disagree. But I base that on several solid years of reading your opinions, the sources you typically link to, etc.
