What I do is I have a Rx for Flonase that I use and usually that takes care of things, (stuffy nose) but if the cold or whatever is too strong then I keep a handy, dandy little bottle of Afrin 12 hour nasal spray. I use it at night just before bed and it usually is good for the whole night. Caution here though...Afrin can make the situation worse if you use too much. Just one spray per day, not over three days. By then the Flonase usually works. I saved many a nights sleep for me.
