Today we have people from the region coming out to observe at our school. We're all under HUGE pressure to be perfect. Our rooms are supposed to be clean but we've had meetings the past three days on prep and I can never stay after to do it. Having 30 kids in a small room pretty much guarantees that it NEVER gets clean. To make things more fun, they turned on our heat and it has issues in my room. It gets above 90 degrees in my classroom in the afternoon. It's miserable and they have no idea what's wrong or when it can be fixed. Oh, and I'm having an allergic reaction to some new shampoo and my entire head and the back of my neck have broken out and itch like crazy! If I hadn't had to call in sick last Monday, I would SO be staying home today...

An official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and 'this thing' which tells time! That should take care of the squirrels!

You never knew if the squirrel was going to fly out in your face when you opened the door, LOL Needless to say, they discouraged the nesting next winter. I think you have snow headed your way. We've had a good dumping of rain here in the San Francisco area, and it's now dumping our first good snow in the Sierra. It's supposed to hit you on it's way east!

How do I tell her that I don't want to go with them because a. her child is a brat and liable to be the one disturbing me from watching the film. b. I would prefer to go to an evening performance when there are less children in the audience.. *sigh* whichever way I go I know I'm going to end up in the wrong and it's going to affect my enjoyment of the film.... Grrrr *disclaimer* yes I am aware that this makes me sound like a first class brat myself, but I was hoping this was going to be a date movie for DH and myself not half his extended family too.

Oh and to add insult to injury, I have a cold again, my sinuses are inflamed and I feel terrible, why does this ALWAYS happen to me the week before Christmas???

It's making us all so miserable. We have people coming in for audits all the time and we're under intense scrutiny. We have another audit on Tuesday and more in January. And some moron schedule parent conferences for the week after break. So I'm busting my butt to get ready for conferences before break so I don't have to stress about them over vacation.
