In the newer ads with "critics" saying things like "stunning", "The best animated feature of the year" etc. Here's something interesting about all of the praises in the ad. It's all from ONE Critic!!!!! Also, this critic is one that usally overhypes any Disney film.

    In all fairness, I see now that this film appears to be about zoo animals trying to survive in the city, not in the wild, as I originally thought. So it's not quite as much like Madagascar.

    My local paper gave it 3 out of 4 stars, but the text review was lack-luster. Shouldn't 3 out of 4 be good? I think the person who writes the reviews is not the same oone who grades the film.

    Well, I just saw it and boy did it bomb. (In a bad way) CG is nice but the story is muddled and strays off,soundtrack is weak and with the humor. There were some funny parts but way too many unfunny jokes. I know this is not a Madagascar rip off and this was in thought 9 years ago but this is what you able to come up with?!

    Just back from Montreal, my wife and I went to the 14h35 screening on Rue St. Catherine and the theater was 50% full. Like many who have shelled this movie, this movie was like Madagasacar. The only local or national talk was that Don Cherry was the mc of the curling match. The Cars trailer was good.

    Wasn't the Wild made by the same production company that did Valiant? I thought Disney just distributed the film. Oh well it will all be forgotten when Cars comes out.
