    Yep - back in the day before the VCR - DVD ability to watch movies when you wanted - one would plan around a 'movie event' like the Wizard of Oz !

    Yep, I sure remember watching the movie on CBS every year on my TV in the pre video/DVD days. I always liked the part where a black-and-white Dorothy opens the door to a very colorful OZ landscape.
