With that said chalk me up for EVERYTHING Neal Diamond ever did, sang, wrote or even thought about writing. I know that will get me killed because ND fans are violently loyal. Oh, and "I will always love you" sounds from the heart when Dollie sings it but anything but sincere when Whitney ruins it.

I'm not a Pink fan so I guess I'm biased, but I know a lot of Pink fans who also don't like this one. I wrote a whole rant in my blog about all the reasons this song annoys me. And Donny Most's album is full of clinkers, but no one has ever heard of them. (Larry Hovis, on the other hand, is quite good!) I would nominate What is The Thing Called Amway from the album Sing Out for Free Enterprise. I can just see you getting up from your dining room table, assaulting one of the Wilson brothers, and then sitting back down and finishing writing your check to Amnesty International! FWIW, I like "Kokomo." And I don't even feel bad about it. "C'mon Eileen," I love. And feel majorly guilty about loving it.

Actually, I opened this thread thinking it was referring to the radio story I heard this morning about the world's worst song lyrics award, or something along those lines. Sting & Carly Simon got the bulk of the honors, & I gotta say I concur. Post-Police Sting, especially? URGHHHH, gag me with a sitar.
