Also, before the "Pressler" era, and since his departure, there was/is an unwritten rule that you would never see an attraction down for rehab during a peak season. If you think it's bad now, imagine(or remember) going to the park during the holiday season of '03/'04. You wouldn't have been able to ride Space Mountain OR Big Thunder. "Space" had just started that 2+ years rebuild, while "Thunder" was closed due to the fatality in September of '03. That's two major coasters closed during an entire peak season. A routine 45 minute shut-down doesn't seem all that bad now, does it?

Because of their slowness I saw the ride back up and nearly shut down at least five times. Come on folks get your butts in gear and get in and out of the bobsleds a little faster please. Especially those of you who are repeat visitors.

Can't they just use lockers? SaraTonin, I am the determined person who stood in line for at least 50 minutes to get on Space Mountain and 40 to get on the Matterhorn. And yet I stuck it out, since I enjoy those rides so much.

My main concern is that the rides stay in top form so that everyone still loves them, and nobody gets hurt.

I was on 2 trips to DL when ROA was closed and that was worse than any rides being shut down.

I can see why that might bother someone. The ROA is big contributor to the atmosphere on that side of the park and when it's closed there are at least 3-4 attractions closed at once. Not to mention no Fantasmic shows.

Very heads up on her part, and greatly appreciated on mine - it made it very easy to just sit down and buckle up.
