I had to walk from Splash Mountain past the Haunted Mansion and Columbia, on the banks of the Rivers of America and then through Frontierland (I never chose the Adventureland route) and end up in the hub with Walt in front of the castle, gleaming and radiant, silent as can be.. Then head down Main Street all warm and bright, to the main entrance and the old lockers and costuming. I would stroll as slow as can be, I felt humbled that I was able to take this walk, much like Walt did so many years ago. I loved that.....

Even as a guest you may have the opportunity for private time in Disneyland. In the off season at some of the after hours corporate events, guests get to see the park vacant as well as they walk to their party locations. But they never soak it in, I think they feel as if they are seeing something Taboo or wrong that they shouldn't see. So for the most part they try and avoid all contact with Disneyland after closing.. LOL But if you ever have the chance to take that magic stroll, I hope you will take a few moments to breath in the magic of Walt's park, and thank him for touching so many lives with his imagination.

There is nothing like walking under the bridge and onto Main Street, knowing that the imagination of one man made this all possible for us to enjoy!

On my last visit, we were seated in front of the River's of America and a young couple from Inda had come and sat close by.. We chatted with them for a few and the girl had told us this was her first trip to Disneyland... When Fantasmic started seeing the wonder and excitment on her face really made me realize that this was Walt's intention, this is what it's all about !! So no matter how crabby you are from the heat or cold and crowds... No matter how long you had to wait to get on your favorite ride, no matter our cultural differences , the MAGIC of this place, is so special and should never be forgotten!

Thanks to Dave and LuLu, I had a change of heart.

In short, there's so much to like that it's impossible to zero in on just one thing. Lots of folks on this thread said it well.

No more discussions about muffin tops, pushy strollers and off-topic stuff for a good, long time. Agreed? :)
