Unless you can confidently say that I didn't see what I saw and that my judgment is so inoperative that I am unable to tell good from bad, then I must say bull to your response. I was there and I saw what I saw. I have been to WDW and I have seen what I see. I am perfectly capable of comparing the two.>> I never said you didn't see what you said you saw, Goof. I totally believe you saw what you did. And I am not discounting your perceptions. BUT ... I am (naturally) giving a bit more weight to mine if only because I am biased to trust my senses more than anyone else's ... and because I am pretty sure I was at both resorts more than you in that year, so hopefully, I got a better sense of what was what. Maybe I didn't ... who knows? But I think I did <<I also remember in the early 90's when MK in WDW was god awful. It smelled bad, the food was bad, the service was horrendous and almost nothing was working. I can tell the difference sir! >> I actually remember some 'issues' at MK in the early 90s too. It was what I termed the Disney-MGM effect. Many MK managers transferred and Disney's efforts were aimed at the new park first, EPCOT second and then MK ... well, no ... actually PI and TL and resort expansion all took precendence. But MK still was in far better shape overall in 1991 then in 2001. ~Unforgiving Spirit~

The reason Walt built Disneyland was to have a place where his kids and him could could enjoy together. Instead of siting on the bench eating popcorn while the kids rode on kiddie rides. It seems like WDW is becoming what Walt hated the most. Also, the I hate WDW for changing EPCOT into a mix mess of attractions and special events buildings with no vision or theme that was present in the past at Future World. It seems now I spend more time at World Showcase then Future World bc there is only a couple of attractions worth it. I know that time caught up with EPCOT in terms of computers in the house and at work, but to let many areas sit dead for years is inexcusable.
