At its best, FastPass actually increases wait times at attractions and discourages repeat ridership. It is wonderful for local AP'ers who just come to do one or two rides and leave, but it has an overall destructive influence on guest experience for anyone spending a full day. FastPass typically is very poorly managed, and guest abuse of the system greatly magnifies its inherent failings. FastPasses are also sometimes given as rain checks for ride shutdowns and they can be redeemed en masse with little to no regulation of the arrival rate. There is also always the ever-present threat that one day FastPass will be implemented as a perk to on-site resort guests or sold for an additional fee to anyone willing to pay.

The use of Fastpass is something that everybody loves. What's not to like about actually using it. What is bad is the overall attitude that it has helped to create. Entitlement, smugness, angry stand-by people making the magic disappear. The general misunderstanding about the general bad feelings that it leaves with the majority that CANNOT get a Fastpass. And I agree the it will eventually become a perk for on site guests causing more of the same. We used to wait in lines before FP and we all used to complain about it. However, it was a rite of passage, a shared experience and when you were next...you were next. What do you know, I was able to gather the strength for one more argument.

(2) removing World of Motion. But even that stunt didn't sting nearly as bad as dismantling Horizons, Dreamflight, Adven. Club and reconfiguring Alien Encounter.

I like that they are spaced out, it prevents you from seeing into another park and ruining the magic. at DL for instance if you are in TL and look at space mountian you can see ToT. To me having the parks that close together kills it.

Having the parks spaced out at WDW is fine and helps to make it more "magical" imho, I only wish that there was monorail service to all of them to make them more convenient! As for things that I hated to see dissapear: - Horizons - World of Motion - Journey Into Imagination - Wonders of Life - 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - Mr. Toad - Discovery Island (I LOVED this little oasis!) - River Country - Mike Fink Keelboats - Alien Encounter (though I feel it belonged more at the Studios than the MK) - Kitchen Kabaret - Mickey Mouse Revue
