FerrotAfros - I had a bunch of t-shirts just like you do and I ended up going to Michael's and buying some album photo frames (waited til there were on sale) and framing my t-shirts. We have them down in the rec room on the wall behind the bar. It looks really cool.

Here are the frames I'm talking about: http://tinyurl.com/o2kmh

A friend of mine took all her t-shirts and had them sewn into a quilt. Well, her mom did it for her but same diff. It is a very, very cool quilt and it's huge so she uses it as her bedspread.

Would a whole shirt fit into one of those frames, chickie?

I also have a Mickey Snocone maker and a Mickey popcorn maker that have never been out of the box.

I have used the toaster though!!!

That would make a cool quilt! (Chickie, can I borrow that sewing thingy so I can learn how to make a quilt with it?)

ukfan, the t-shirts fit great in that album frame. Just fold 'em like they do at dept stores, or however they'll fit in there, and you're done. I had no problem at all. Sweatshirts won't fit without some cutting though and I can't bring myself to cut them. ... I think I'll save my sweatshirt for the quilt. Even though I can't bring myself to cut them I would happily send them away and let someone else do that and send it back to me in a quilt.

Tinberbell, I'd be happy to loan you my Handy Stitch! But you know of course that you'd have to return it to me when you were done because I could never get rid of my Hand Stitch. ;-)

    dlf8, "my brain," LOL.

I just remembered another one: fabric markers. Oh, the kids projects I was gonna do with those. They're probably all dried out now but I wouldn't know seeings as how I've neeeever opened them! lol

And, thanks for making me feel normal, guys! I too have lots of old shirts that I don't wear but can't part with. Some of them I do wear but shouldn't any more... I finally stopped wearing my rocket rods shirt; it is falling apart! I must preserve the precious precious memories! :)

I am actually making a quilt right now (first one ever, yay for a really helpful little book), but I'm doing it all by hand, so it's taking (to put it lightly) forever. I started it in the middle of May, and it looks like I have at least another month or two before I'll be done (but I did have to take about a month off, since I was getting into the actual quilting phase of it when I was in a very hot area with no AC). If I can learn how to use a sewing machine (or a handy stitch!), I could probably make one a lot faster (but it would be tough quilting the middle of it with a handy stitch).

As for cookie markers, we got them last year when we were making Christmas cookies, and they worked really well! The problem was that nobody wanted to eat them, because it looked like we had taken Sharpies and colored on the cookies. They tasted fine though...(Try coloring on top of the frosting, that seemed to work a little better too!)

Seriously. I did a quick look through my closet and put up 11 items on eBay last week that I never use, never look at, or forgot I had. I made $193.58 and only seven of the items sold. Can you imagine how much I could make if I tried? I started with really low bids, too, just to get rid of things.

That's $193 MORE money to spend at WDW this trip... that's one extra table service meal. I'm going to put up more this weekend, too!

RMM! I want one of those, mostly because I trashed one of my best kitchen knives carving my pumpkin last year :(

I am determined not to do the same again, so am intending to purchase just something very similar to this :)

I have so many things it's ridiculous..

I have an electric citrus juicer someone bought me, never been out of the box more than once, it was quicker to use the old fashioned glass juicer (go figure ;D)

Oh and the porcelain and silver plated flan dish someone bought us as an engagement present, I mean seriously, who in their right mind would think that

    a, I would make flan

b, I would be looking to serve it in a porcelain and silver plated flan dish.

People are weird I tell ya ;D

I really need to do the same as Ursula, I have some really nice things that people bought us for wedding gifts 7 years ago, that haven't ever made it out of the box...
