I did sit in the back seat last time with my son and as usual, a big torrent of water came my way but my son got it instead.
    God bless him! LOL!

When I'm in the back I always get the rogue splash at the crocodile. DS and I rode Splash the day they reopened it in May after the long rehab and we got DRENCHED. We were wetter the GRR. They had been testing it that morning with the water dummies and then opened it later that day. We walked off the ride and several people in line after seeing us walk by got out of line. We could hear people in line talking to each other wondering if they were going to get that wet. I believe we too were in the shared back seat at the time. We got hit with a tidal wave!

But as far as wondering whether to ride it, I always have to. I love it too much and suffer through the soggy undies.

Yes, it's witchcraft for a cleaner America!

ORDDU: I have considered my DH, TinksGuy, a handsome hunk ever since I met him when he was but the tender age of 18. He would be delighted to flirt with you tenderly and chastely in any line at Disneyland, I am quite certain. And I would be delighted to look politely the other way. xoxo

ORGOCH: Well, for me, I've always found the restrooms to be a hit and miss proposition, no pun intended (that's for the guys to discuss). Sometimes I'll find a restroom that is basically pristine during our visit, and perhaps the next time, it will be a little worse for the wear.

In any case, I try to help out the CM's and if the ladies have trashed the sink area (heaven help me: I cannot figure that one out), I'll gather up all the wet/discarded paper towels and put them in the trash can. Then I'll mop up the water and hope against hope that the next coven, or family, or whomever that comes in will be nice to our friendly CM's, and future bathroom patrons. xoxo

    Thanks for a thought-provoking thread.

And wonderingalice, I LOVED those stories about Splash!

<----currently wondering if she'll have the guts to ride it this coming weekend; she hates wet jeans, too. :)

(She will! She cannot resist the power of Splash!)

What IS that about?!? Splashing water all over the counters! ! ! ! And then leaving it there!?! It never used to be like that.
Anyway, I am unsure as to whether people just used to be neater and more considerate or if there were more CM's keeping it wiped off all of the time.

I'm not really into the pin scene at all, but it was still cool to get something for an action as simple as picking up a piece of paper off the ground. Moral of the story: pick stuff up at Disneyland. It's not only nice to do just because it is, but you might also get something out of it (there are always unused FP's here and there).
