It's not just at Disneyland, come to think of it. The exact same thing happens when I'm choosing a lane in stop and go congestion on the freeway - no matter which one I get into, it's always the slowest one. And don't even mention check-out lines at the supermarket. Maybe I'm just bad at choosing lines.
