You can read the article if you go to Google and search for Pixarlandia and then look at the Cached version. (You don't get to see all the great images he photoshopped for the article).

It's just not going to be as fun, and you're never going to feel as "soap-free." If you're buying an AP to Disneyland, and admission to DCA comes with it, and you like a few singular things about that park, why WOULDN'T you go into that territory to enjoy them? Heck, I like some of the food at DCA, I like some of the attractions. But that park is a ridiculous mess, conceived and executed by a supervising board of dullards and accountants. That there ARE enjoyable elements within, is a testament to the strengths so resonant within WDI that can rise to the top DESPITE all efforts to quash their creative impulse. Still taking showers, but can't wait for the water to change...

Yeah, I ONLY saw the picture, so was confused why people were so up in arms about one photo and a Mexican reference. Okay, there was MORE before obviously, thanks for that . And ONCE again, this topic has fallen into another "DCA sucks" thread lol. It amazes me to this day that people can still talk endlessly about it. I bowed out of the conversation somewhere around 2005, but it WAS fun . But yeah, its all been said. Truth of the matter DCA IS getting better, but it's still a mess of a park no doubt about it. Again, over probably the 100+ plus messages I written on the subject since I was ALSO one of the first people around when these boards opened, I was always pretty critical of the park but always, always, ALWAYS made it clear if you like it, love it, think its the greatest park ever, FINE!!! I never questioned people's taste for a theme park, I only talked about *my* concerns and left it there. The REALITY though is that my concerns seems to have fallen in the majority of the consumers out there and that's a bad, bad sign for Disney and they KNOW it! As much as people defended the park over the years and gave it every kind of excuse why it didn't bring in the crowds (I still LOVE the weather excuse--I sometimes tear up from laughter ;D), I think NOW most people can FINALLY say DCA is simply a problem park whether they like it or not and Disney apparently has known that since they instituted the first discounts 6 months after the park opened---at the time a HUGE deal. Now, just a staple to the park because Disney knows the second they stop the 2fer's, separate the 2 park AP's or any of the combined multi day passes, the park is as good as dead lol. Yes, we ALL know it benefits DL too, but I have a feeling DL will live on separated from DCA, quite well in fact. DCA will always be, I wish I remember who coined this phrase, the herion addicted monkey on Disney's back. Sure, it was always meant to rely on DL to a degree, but certainly nothing like this. It's truly sad. Okay, I'm out of the conversation once again (ONLY clicked on this thread to see if my question EVER got an answer---but I was once again seduced by the bickering---Everytime I think I'm out, you people pull me back IN!! ;D).
