    However, it certainly looks wrong. A sponsor of the show helping people vote for one candidate and not another? That's pretty bad and pretty foolish on AT&T's part.

    Two wrongs don't make a right.

    AI felt some pressure to refresh itself going into this season. Hence, we got the fourth judge.

    Even with that tweak, and even with the Glambert thing going strong, earnings from the AI machine were down 24% this season.

    I'm expecting even more changes for next season. And after this ATT flap, I think there's going to be a renewed emphasis on "integrity" to try to reassure the fans.

    In the past, Ryan/the producers have made a point of announcing the spread in the vote. Such announcement was totally avoided in this season's finale.

    Anybody know how the vote landed?
    Anybody know why Ryan didn't announce how close it was(n't)?

    I thought it was interesting that over the weekend, I heard on the radio for the first time the song that they both had to sing for the finale and it was Adam's version that they were playing. Of course Adam's version was much better than Kris', but I was really suprised.

    I agree that neither version was compelling. I can't remember anything about the song now except thinking at the time that it was musically uninspiring and lyrically a string of cliches.
