Both the girls and guys he made the comment to seemed to project more than others like they were performing on a stage.

I find the show a lot less interesting when they pick out people like Joanna Pacitti.

And in Joanna's case, after watching her video...she doesn't really interest me at all.

I suspect they're sending a lot of people thru to Hollywood so they'll have lots of coverage on the tears and tantrums when they get to send them back home.

I also liked the Wicked guy. (Adam?) He was probably a Munchkin in the show....

Having the auditions at Churchill Downs gave it an interesting look.

They let some go through that were no better than he was...

Well, growing a beard at 18 was probably at the top of his list...small house with nice floors was 2nd. ;-)

I liked the black guy returning from last year, and the girl who went back in after getting a makeover.

However they are letting somepeople thru this year that'marginal' would be a nice term for their talent-- they are Hollywood Week fodder

as far as bikini girl- she is part of Hollywood week fodder - either talent is down overall- or they are setting up Hollywood week to have more drama queens go off when they are booted

My new plan for this season is to "keep" the Hollywood week shows. Then as the top group gets picked through I can go back and look at them as individuals and see what they went through. I usually can't remember anyone in particular once they get to Hollywood and don't have their bikini or kids or spiked hair or whatever. I always get a kick out of seeing Clay Aiken's first tryout :)
