Teenage suicide is much higher among gay teens and many of them perceive intolerance and a lack of acceptance or love for being who they are. Don't blame the suicides and depression on being gay, blame it on intolerant, judgmental people who refuse to accept that people who are gay were born that way and are entitled to acceptance and tolerance just like any other human. And as for WANTING my kids to be gay, or not gay. I don't WANT them to be either. I want them to be who they are. There is no condition regarding sexual orientation on my love and acceptance as a parent. I don't WANT them to be straight, and I don't WANT them to be gay. It isn't up to me, anyway. It's who they are. I want my kids to be my kids and to accept themselves and know that I'll always love them and accept them for who they are.
