I like the entrance signs, and I like the idea of mixing this place up a bit, but I'm going to need to see it in person to decide if the overall feel has changed. I was there monday night, and all of the walls were still up, I was surprised at all of the work that had been done, since I hadn't been back there since July. I can't beleive it opened up yesterday, since they had a crane putting the Muppets sign back together just before sunset on Monday.

The additional characters provide a nice connection between this attraction and the Monsters Inc. Facade. Man that blue/red with the tan looks hideous, but I do like the doors closing in front of the unfinished doors on one of the structures. It is hard to tell where it is in the picture. Sorceror Mickey could have used some of his broom pals to add some whimsy to the fountain, but right now the blue tile and the deco pedestal matches very well with the surroundings. I like the Hollywood Studios entrance sign back by the Hyperion, but it looks a little out of place at the front of the land, since the style is not visible until that point. It does seem wierd to me that the only 2 video camera filming setups in the Backlot are now gone. I think new scenery could work in this new setup. Has the car with the gorilla completely disappeared? Is Rizzo's now completely gone too, I liked the look of that place? Monsters and Muppets now bookend each other very well. I wonder what attraction can continous this while taking up the space in the millionaire building. Any ideas? Is there any sign in the area of future additions? Thanks for the photos darkbeer.
