"It must be the teacher's fault or the other kids fault. My child is an angel & how dare you think other wise". Or if they do take actions like "punishing" their child, or, gasp-dare I say "spank". It clearly is child abuse. The world is no fun anymore, the more & more people who don't get their way. We are all a bunch of babies living on this earth screaming to each other "It's not fair".

I've nothing to back that up. Just a gut feeling. I don't know the kid. I don't know the cast member. I think the Dad is pushing this. Not based on the accent though, because I actually found it kind of charming -- but I love New England accents. I do know coalminers -- one of my sisters was married to the son of a coalminer. Great guy. Worked his butt off and ended up with black lung disease. Decent man and hard working. Clothing -- it does make a statement. People do judge - It is human nature to do so. Is it always a good judge of the person? Nah...but it does happen. I am as guilty as anyone of it. An interesting topic maybe for another thread...

This whole thread is about a father (supposedly) defending his son which is why I mentioned that you were doing the same. It wasn't an insult. I might have used harsher language than was necessary (yet it was no harsher than anybody else in this thread) but I'm not the only one who felt that things were turning into a feeding frenzy. I've already apologized to your daughter for implying that she wasn't a good teacher but I'm not going to apologize for participating in this thread and for turning people's comments back onto themselves. If everybody is entitled to their opinions and that also includes me. BTW, I looked at the original video and the boy was wearing a t-shirt in both parts, one brown, one blue and his hair pretty much looked the same too. I see nothing wrong with the clothing he is wearing to an amusement park. I wasn't going to mention the fact that he was still wearing a t-shirt but since my apology wasn't enough for you, I guess we can keep hashing out why this kid is clearly a dirtbag.

I don't need to be taught a lesson, or be told what I was doing. >>>"I guess we can keep hashing out why this kid is clearly a dirtbag."<<< Your words. Not mine.
