Not civil I guess, but totally an 'accident'

It does annoy the heck out of me, and give my self great pleasure stepping on their feet when I have to jump over them to keep the line moving behind me.

Stepping on toes is a hazard of duty to these people and are not swayed because of it. We may feel better doing it but it has no real effect.

Could not tell you. As for rudeness... regardless of foreign guests being at fault here or not, the fact remains...the entire World is populated with rude people... at home and abroad. I too have seen american guests playing the "save the center seats" game as well... But my observations tell me this is being done primarily by foreign guests. Not trying to sound prejudice here.. just an observation.. To flip the coin on this... when at TDR in the summer time, I have seen many western guests (who appear to be military folks stationed in Japan) going around shirtless. That's a huge NO-NO in TDR. Japanese guests look at them in disbelief, and as an American, such behavior embarrasess the hell out of me. Of course, TDR CMs are quick to lay down the law and these offender are usually told to put shirts on promptly. Gives me extreme pleasure everytime I have seen that happen.

I know, some of the people who stop mid-row are just being rude. But I'd betcha that a pretty large percentage just don't understand what they're being told. And when you think about it, where else but a Disney park are you forced to go all the way to the end of a row? When you go to your local movie theater, you sit where you want to sit. People are just doing what they do in everyday life. It doesn't make it right, but it is understandable.

Unless, of course, you're on the beach or at a pool or something. A strip club might also qualify.

It should be every CM's duty (not just Security) to inform guests the Dress Code requires shirts and shoes on at all times. >>where else but a Disney park are you forced to go all the way to the end of a row? You may be able to do so in your home town but don't do it to me in mine. People need to understand that, by purchasing their passes to Disney, they are also agreeing to obey rules and regulation. I would like Ticket CMs to explain these issues to guests or at least bring the rules and regulations on the back of the tickets to their attention.. iinstead of convincing them to add "hopper" or Water park options to them already overpriced tickets. Oh..BTW Dan... in Japan, going to the movies means having reserved seating. People do not sit just where they'd like to sit. You buy a ticket and they show you the seating chart, and you choose the seats you want to take. Your tickets come with seat and row numbers on them. Makes for a more efficient loading and use of space, as opposed to going into a theater and wastingtime looking for a seat for you and your party.

I also think it is stupid to let kids go in the parks with nothing but their bathing suits in (I see this wayyy too often). That kid is going to be in agony by the end of the day, especially if theyre wearing the little plastic-like sandals.

Also no different when you enter a shuttle bus that will be full ( i.e. sporting event parking lot )-- there is no excuse for these people As for not speaking English ( very few ) but a lot of pretenders -- have someone shout out 'free meal tickets' and lets see how many of those who claim to not speak English understadn that"
