Not everyone in life is: Instant Gratification "I want constant stimuli or I'm going stomp up and down till I get what I want." That's what Magic Mountain is for! And about half of Knotts. If you can't enjoy the Warmth, and Charm that the original "tiki" show exudes ... then don't go and see it, and don't ruin it for the rest of us who do know how to appreciate it.

The park wallows in nostalgia too much as it is. "If the original 'tiki' show is such a snorefest .. then why did WDW switch back to the old show, and not do a entirely new show, like TDL often do??" They managed to make it worse than the original. Then played it safe.

Funny how during WWII, one of the bloodiest wars in history .. and people were happy to sit through a movie musical, such as Meet Me In St. Louis .. and today's generations ... you'd think we've been through something far worse - since anything "innocent", "charming", and "heartfelt" .. like the original tiki show .. is so lost on some. Sometimes .. I wonder if some of the blame can squarely go off, on growing up on one too many "apocalyptic" films. Starting with Irwin Allen .. to Ridley Scott (Alien, Bladerunner) .. and now - Marvel! It's all about in-your-face .. SHOCK AND AWE .. to further desensitize an audience.

A buffet with sad pieces of BBQ chicken and BBQ beef that had been allowed to dry out, and the utensils were "upscale" plastic (y'know, the ones that look like metal silverware). I hope the higher price for the Mousetalgia event means that Disney's going to provide a better quality meal.
