I have seen people get up and walk out a few times. I've seen people singing much too loudly or yelling things out during the show once or twice. I was in a show once about two months ago, where this lady was taking flash pictures and using video lighting. I'm not sure if she didn't understand the english before the show, if she just "pretended" not to understand the CM, or just didn't care. No one said a word to her that I could see. It was annoying, but didn't really bother me too much. I just thought it was rude to not care about anyone else.

During the summer, I sat in a row with a kid that was ... I'm not sure the politically correct term, but special... And his Dad was constantly pulling him back down because he wanted to stand up. I felt bad for the Dad, but happy that the kid was having such a good time. He looked like he was mid-teens and was having a blast, clapping and so on.

I'd never let my kid run around during the show. The rule is, you sit, either on the seat or my lap. That's it. Or we leave. No standing. No running. Even during a kid's movie, I get up and take my kid out if he's acting up or not willing to sit still. Missed a bunch of Toy Story 3 in the theater because if that. I was mad at him, but he was not quite 2 yet, so it's hard to blame him.

Basically, I think there are parents out there who are polite and care. There are lots out there that don't. It's sad to think what the world is turning in to, but I'm not sure we can do anything about it, except try to teach our kids the best we can.
