All of us here in this forum know the answer is"because it's the Disney way to make things perfect". It's a shame that modern day Disney has forgotten that proud tradition.

Same here. It was so DISNEY...that was the best part of it for me.

We did this when we volunteered. And we've been back a few times.

How does this weigh on what I find to be good or bad quality?

The thing is, today's guests still know about that, and still expect it. They do voice their displeasure, but it's not enough.

Great. I'm glad you enjoyed DL. I've grown up with WDW, and so that is what I know. We are, after all, in a WDW thread.

I probably have spent 7-10 days at WDW each year for the last five years. Before that, I had not visited any Disney park for 12 years. I visited probably with the same regularity as now during the '80s beginning around '82. That likely lasted for about five years also, with perhaps a year or two in-between some visits. So, tell me - am I too close to the parks? Give me a break. You don't know anything about how much time I spend there.

All you see in these comments is complaining and ingratitude from someone you consider an obsessed fan. Well, did I make any similar judgment of you in my earlier remarks? No, I didn't. I said what I said because I have the perspective to say it - and I don't really care what you think of me or my criticisms. I give them because these parks mean something to me, and I know there are other people who read this site who feel the same way and have a similar perspective to make these comments. So, don't try to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. If enough people are willing to say that they're tired of the way things are, then just maybe, just maybe, somebody who can do something about it might take a step to change it. But, I won't hold my breath. I want my own kids to be able to come and have the same experiences that I remember. If I don't speak up when I see a fault, then I have a part to share in the blame for it.

Again, you don't know me. You'd be ashamed of that comment if you knew what I've done to help others.

Why take the time to find out, when you can blindly assume that those that complain about a Disney park can't possibly think for others other than themselves?

And yes, I'm obsessed with some of the silly posts by you and other Disney fans.
You folks need to stop going every day or every week and maybe limit yourselves to once a month as a way to break your addiction.

Thanks. I always make it a point to listen to the forum's resident addiction counselor.

    Ummmm....what?!

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what kind of point you are trying to make. Who is addicted here? We enjoy the place. We enjoy talking about it as a business and as a thematic entity. It's discourse. That's what this website is for.

What's so bad about a little discussion with differentiated opinions?
