CoP is a good guest-gobbler during the holidays but regular guests aren't attracted to it. As it isn't located in an area with space pressures I'm sure it will stay for now but that doesn't mean WDW won't carve it out given half the chance.

I love CoP, but I don't think it's immune to the chopping block.

I have always loved CoP from the time it made it's debut at DL in 1967 (as a kid, I had no idea it was transplanted from the 1964 World's Fair.) It definitely should stay, but if I had one wish (or two) it would be for them to backdate the final act to the original "sometime beyond 1967" living room, complete with the Progress City backdrop, and for the Progress City model to moved to how it was at DL. In other words, a complete restoration of the original.

Well, that was supposed to go into Disneyland's Carousel Theater, not MK's. Who knows what WDW's would be if the Disney Decade had stayed on track.

I think the first section should start with a period today's older population might remember from their childhood days. As for Timekeeper, while I enjoyed it, and sincerely hope it doesn't become another empty MK building, it's run its course after 10+ years.

And, as it gets older, they could keep pushing the dates up. Keep each scene only 20 years apart from each other.

You gotta remember as for comparing it to Small World, they were both developed by Walt for a worlds fair. They are neither one going anywhere.

The Theater walls were redesigned to break away now.
