No, especially since they don't want to maintain those expensive AAs. ... And they have been trying to close the attraction actively since around 2000-01.

I love the show, but would like to see it updated once again.

I love CoP, but I don't think it's immune to the chopping block.< true -- solution - build a second CoP in all the open space in TL - and add a 60's 80's 00's etc -- -- link the attractions and really go thru time... as you can tell I really like CoP

As for CoP, I refuse to let myself get stampeded by such heresay. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.
Originally Posted By danyoung >Well, Lincoln will return to DL after that park's 50th anniversary celebration ends.< Yeah, and right after Walt's birthday celebration DL is gonna get Walt's office back. See how well it's turning out? I hope Lincoln returns, although I'm less than impressed by the latest incarnation with the silly headphones.

I don't think ANY attraction is immune...just look at the upcoming Pirates update.
Originally Posted By danyoung >Basically it's a completely different animal, other than the Lincoln AA.< Actually everything about the AA was changed when, back in '84? When they introduced the compliance system for more realistic movements. So I don't think there's any shred of the '64 Lincoln in the current one.

I'm still for it returning to its original presentation and moving it to a much smaller facility. That theater really should be used for something else. Something that really is the right way for guests to begin their Disneyland day.
