Looks like you're the one with special rules for yourself that allow you to make attacks on others and then claim it's not fair when it's done to you. Take your ball and go home, jonvn.. things seem to have gotten too rough.
Originally Posted By jonvn "And I guess you calling someone "stupid" because they have an opinion you don't agree with is NOT a personal attack?" I didn't call anyone stupid for not agreeing with me. But feel free to make up whatever you want about me. "Looks like you're the one with special rules for yourself " Looks like you're losing an argument, so you want to get nasty. It happens, and it means very little to me. "Take your ball and go home, jonvn.." Why don't you act like an adult? It must be a very hard thing for some people to do.

Yethe would nto be considered middle managment. the Preseident of the resort has quite abit of power. More than some people think they have. His/hers decisions are not that easily brushed aside. He/She could make or break any project that is slated for the resort that he/she is responsible for. If people actually think that Jay Rasulo is involved in everything the resorts do then i suggest you get a reality check. At the end I see no reason for this conversation. Not all companies follow the same guidelines. One could work for a company that employs thousands but runs and designates its management diferently than others. A person could spin things one way but at the end everyone whether it is middle managment to the top executives work for someone else and has responsibilites to someone else.

From your earlier post regarding my reference about middle management: "It really is stupid. When people complain about Grier, or whatever, it shows they truly know basically nothing." Stating what I said as being stupid usually can make one think you are calling them stupid, jonvn. I don't agree with your statements, but I wouldn't think you were stupid. I'd hope that you'd do the same and maybe we could agree on that and agree to disagree on the rest. That's all I wish to state on the matter. Stick a fork in it... Done.

If you consider a middle manager someone who has others in his charges who report to him, while also reporting to someone above him then Every single person in the company is a middle manager. CM's have to take care of guests. Park managers take care of their CMs. And it's a publically owned company, so even Bob Iger and the board report to the public. Yay for american capitalism.

That can not be said for others, though, who did insult me. For example, it appears this one individual feels that I called him stupid. Find out where that happened. Go look for it. When you don't find it, get back to me. Now what I did say was that when people say things about the management of the company, it's just really stupid because it's out of touch and unrealistic. But there was no insult of anyone here.
Originally Posted By jonvn "The term middle management according to people here is everyone from the CFO to Attraction leads and Housekeeping managers." No. "I skimmed over the last several pages because it all seemed like useless blabber" Yes.
Originally Posted By danyoung >Look carefully. I insulted no one. Neither by outright name calling, nor rude implications.< Of COURSE you did, jon. If you disagree with someone by saying "I disagree with you, and here's why...", you're being polite. If you say (as you did 50 posts ago) - "It really is stupid. When people complain about Grier, or whatever, it shows they truly know basically nothing.", then you're being rude and insulting. And if you can't make that simple distinction, then you really are stupid. Note I didn't call you stupid there, jon.

I said the comments were stupid, and if you can't figure that out, I can't help you.
