I'm not doing the 5k, but I think they did screw up not telling runners about the 5k, 10k conflict. They told people after they shouldn't sign up for both. I'm sure if you run an average 5k, it shouldn't be an issue getting to the 10k, but since it's the first time, who knows what the logistics will be. Have you heard when they are releasing the course maps. I'm curious about the 10k.

I assume this also means the immediately adjacent streets (Harbor, Katella, Ball, DL Drive) because of the length of the courses. While I haven't heard anything even remotely official, I suspect that the time of the races will likely be adjusted to allow them to clear the course between races (or run the 10K first and clear half of the course)

And they are allowing a "number" of early Tink reg. when they open up Princess reg. I'm glad I did Princess this year but NO desire to do it again. I also have to say I still like the blue C2C better than the pink one.

The 10K for the Labor Day races is the same day as the 5K, starting 45 minutes later; it seems like they were in too big of a rush to announce the new race to think through the logistics, since it appears that the 5K and 10K will need to share the same course, and won't be cleared between races
