I kept it on ice, pretty much all day, and the swelling is WAY down - and it's less purple. In a few days, I'll be a lot better (I hope!). I'm trying to figure out how to dress for the weather. How did you like this course, compared to the DL Half? I think I liked the course better, except the Anaheim Stadium. I think this race suffered the same thing the september race did when it started, with lack of entertainment and spectators on the course. It was a bit too dark in parts of the course inside DL. I'm sure some of this will improve for next year. Oh, nice free parking. I've been complaining about this since the 1st DL Half.

This bums me out as that conflicts with the Arizona RnR, and I've already signed up for that in what I hope will be my first full marathon finish...did you get anything that indicated next year's date? I wish they would keep it on a non-holiday weekend, as coming from out of town I appreciate a break in hotel price when I can get it - yet another reason I'll be skipping the 1/2 in September. But moot point if they move it to conflict with my other race in January.
