Also happy that even though I have to sub in a kindergarten class for the first week of school - I'll get the kiddies off to a good start until their perfect teacher is hired. Hopefully soon. And Edna got close to 50 families to sign up for PTA at open house ... a school record!! And, the local California Pizza Kitchen has "adopted" our school and is bringing in tons of yummy pizzas for our teacher's lunch tomorrow. Finally, I got to wear my very own 2008 Mickey Dream Ears at school today!! The office staff think I'm quite crazy ... but the kindergarten kiddies love it!! When they come in to register for school, I tell the little ones that Kindergarten will be the best year of their lives, kinda like going to DL everyday. Today the ears proved me correct.
