I'm waiting on two missing paychecks to show up so I can get my car towed and then worked on - it stopped starting out of nowhere the other day. Found out when I tried to leave for lunch, but thank goodness I have friends like Novak who has loaned me his cute little Mini Cooper until I get the missing money and know for sure that I have the money to cover whatever repair. Already got the battery replced since it tested bad, but the dang thing still won't start, so I'm thinking it'll be the starter or the alternator. Oy. Anyhow, I'm happy that there's still a chance those missing checks will arrive today (contractors here don't get direct deposit and due to clusterfudges by my mail carriers at home, checks for me are being sent to the office until I move into my new place on 10 July).
