PLUS he through in a not so shabby bonu$ on top of my regular commission AND on top of my other incentive for exceeding quota. Kudos and TWO extra bonuses make it a good *month*

Well this morning I find out that the person who told me this was completely wrong and that I am 75% vested and they want to know what I want to do with it. I think we will use it for a down payment on a house and finally get out of the apartment.

Today is a good day because...
I have a job that I'm reasonably good at (even if I don't like next week's schedule).
I have a place to live.
    I have food to eat.
    I have a cat.
I have family members I enjoy hanging out with.
    I have LP!

Tonight being the first night of Passover got me thinking that today is also a good day because...
    We survived slavery in Egypt.
    We survived the Inquisition.
    We survived pogroms.
    We survived the Holocaust.

    Not religious huh?

If I survived the Holocaust I swear I'd want to defile every serial #, block out every single sku. No way I could handle retail heh. Oh and i'd never step into a Sauna etc.

Today is a good day because no one has to go through anything like the Holocaust right now

That's not religious belief--it's pride in my ethnic heritage. The difference is that I suspect that those of my ancestors who escaped Egypt and Germany (and Russia and Spain and so on and on) did so by wits or luck or kindness, not by divine intervention.

Sorry to take this thread off-topic. I'll shut up now.

I just explained to Rachel last night in our golf library (speaking of libraries) about the serial numbers on the survivors from Aushwitz, Trelinka, Sobibor, Dachau, etc, that Mom and I hung out with in the 70's. I emphasized the serial numbers on their arms. I won't forget and Passover is a good time to remember.

    No, don't think so.

But I have 2 relatives who married Jewish partners.

I was baptized by a priest, had first communion, been confirmed and attend church every sunday I don't work. However since I know which church has early morning service, which one has a late night service, I usually make it. You can probably figure it out.

Are you Joe? But something tells me you're Christian.

Today was good because it was one of those days where the sun was shining but it rained anyway. Just little showers here and there, except for that one which was SO loud! I LOVE that!
