Maybe we should wait and see first? Unlike pathetic HKDL they bring two e-tickets to WDSP and a kids zone (right now most attractions are child unfriendly.) What's wrong with that?

Hong Kong Disneyland is, at least, a Magic Kingdom, with enough attractions for a good start (though it certainly needs more, and more quickly than they have planned). It has Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's Philharmagic, two big shows, a good parade, and fireworks. Walt Disney Studios Paris has nothing to compare.

Walt Disney Studios is the worst-designed theme park Disney has ever built. Most of its few attractions are poor (with the notable exceptions of Cinemagic and Animagic and, for thrill fans, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster).

Building one E-ticket, one D-ticket (or two E-tickets if you're generous) and one C-ticket still isn't going to help in Paris--it's still poorly laid out, totally without charm, and just plain ugly with big lumpy buildings.

Building a Tower of Terror in California Adventure did not help its numbers at all, and DCA is a far far better park to begin with than Walt Disney Studios Paris.

Even Chinese people are smart enough to not buy the little half-baked park.

Nice sentiment! I didn't realize that the Chinese are less intelligent than other people--or am I misreading your statement?

It's irrelevant what's next door to Walt Disney Studios Paris--it's just a bad park from top to bottom and it's sucking money away from Disneyland Park, which desperately needs new rides and maintainance.

To be fair WDI are trying to correct that now with new color schemes on the buildings and a new entrance and place-making in the Animation Courtyard. I just got an image this week from WDI of Valerie Edwards sculpting the Mickey for the new entrance and he is very cute indeed. Small changes but it should make the place a little warmer. It still needs shelter though.

It's not impossible, but would require more money and imagination than they have at the moment.

I can still hear the echos from when this decision was made: "That's the way real movie studios are - it will make people feel immersed!"

The addition of the three new rides will get the park up to half-day status (it took about three hours to see everything the first time I went).

One thing that continues to amaze me is why Disney would build an open air theater for the Lights, Motors, Action stunt show, with metal benches, when they KNOW the weather in the Paris area is dreadful during the winter--cold, damp, rainy, much like London. Who wants to sit outside for 45 minutes in those conditions? And the show isn't even that good--mercifully it's shorter in Orlando, but the Jet skis (removed from the Paris show) are in the Orlando show but don't do any stunts! You've really got to wonder what was on the Imagineers minds when they concocted the whole thing.

To be fair... Nothing has been done to alter TDS' look since the park is that perfect as opposed to DCA.
