I know full well I can't change it, and that I'm probably out of step with the current Disneyland guest, who comes there not for some grand vision of the future but just as a place to take the kids. I'm not going to let it ruin my day there. But I discuss it here, because that's what the boards are for. Walt Disney had a different thing in mind than the route they've gone. It's sad that they didn't really attempt to live up to the challenge. It isn't like Disney is some poor little struggling company.

Anyway, I still believe it would take a bold and passionate CEO and a similarly bold and passionate Imagineer to turn TL back into what its original mission was. I don't think think that combination is in place at the moment.

Also, except in Dubai, or by companies such as Apple or Toyota/Honda, there is very little major investment. What would be cool though is a Horizon's type attraction that shows futurism; a fully fleshed our version of Mission Space; a themed table service restaurant that serves the food of tomorrow - served in a hydroponics greenhouse; hover cars to transport you around the land. The issue is, most of these ideas would probably not fly with the frequent visitors of DL.

Originally Posted By davewasbaloo That's great news bean. Thanks. I was thinking, though some might find it boring, how about an attraction where you travel through the future of the environment. Like the new SSE redo, you answer a few questions, based on the answers: you weave through a lovely green, healthy vision of the future if you put in the right answers to help carbon neutrality; if you answer wrong, then you end up in an ice age, a smoggy dirty city and floating where California used to be. Using interactive screens, AA's, and the Pooh Hunny Hunt technology with key pathway choices, this could be a very cool and edutaining attraction. Finish up in the restaurant area I talked about. Mix in some interactive exibits about sustainability, it could be really cool.

I think just maybe that Tomorrowland will be fixed at the same time as DCA. But there are secrets there that no one is talking about yet. Watch and wait. I have faith in what bean says. Soon . . . very soon.

That's a great idea. I like how you take existing technology and create a unique, new ride with it.

But still HISTA at the top of that, certainly. Buzz is popular. What are you going to do? When it finally does get replaced, it should be with something that isn't some brain dead piece of crap like Buzz is.

It just looks really neglected and horribly out of date (both the video games and the orange tile floor) and out of place in the world of the future.
