First, I believe that that had refurbished the Rocket Jet tower bearings just three years earlier. Also, there was just NO way they were going to tear down the entire structure and rebuild it to support the Astro Orbiter. YES, the new Astro Orbiter system is a LOT HEAVIER (no matter how many jets it has) and has an entirely different support system than the original Rocket Jets. It was completely IMPOSSIBLE to install it on the existing structure.
