Pending call." so that instead of typing that out each time I need to put it into notes, I hit ctrl-P and that text is inserted. There are quite a few macro programs out there - my favorite is perfect keyboard pro, which I use at work. You could also have a macro that, for instance, will input data then submit it so that it's written to a database, or will click a certain place on the screen repeatedly, etc and so on.
