The original poster proclaimed "Jungle River," later changed to "Jungle Cruise."

Depending on what's going on in the industry. Count on a "Best Remaking of a theme park" category ... once DCA 2.0 is complete in 2012. Take the Midway Mania win with a grain of salt. I'm not saying anything bad about TEA. But there's so little going on in the industry these days ... they have to get "creative" with the awards they decide to give out, year to year.

And we know that title goes to "Toy Story MIDWAY MANIA." That's what's written on the sign of the ride in Paradise Pier. If, the executives sitting pretty in their posh offices want to be defiant in their isolated office world .. then do so! I'm on the side of the imagineers WHO built the ride. Not executives in Burbank who most likely had very little to do with the actual creation of the attraction. And no creative, or artistic sense how to name it.

But if it became an issue with corporate to have the same name across the board, no matter what Disney resort the ride is in ... explain for me please why...... The WDW "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin" is a different name than DL's "Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters". It's not an issue for the two "Buzz Lightyear" rides in the two U.S. Disney resorts to have their own name .. but it is for Toy Story Mania WDW / Toy Story Midway Mania DCA.

If that's right .. then it seems appropriate it should be named with the "midway" word in the title.
