To me its sort of like they wanted to compete with Spidey, but try to kick it up a notch by making it interactive. So they took the high tech ride-thru shooting gallery (Buzz) and the ride-thru 3-d special fx tour de force (Spidey) thrown into a blender with a scoop of family friendly classic Disney/PIXER® characters, and voila, New Disney attraction franchise. I think the building looks nice, but the ride as a whole just really doesn't interest me. I'm sure it will be a fun thing to do while at DCA, but a lot of bluster for a plussed buzz.>> While TSMM uses some enhanced 3D video technology, it was in no way developed to compete in any manner with Spiderman. Imagineering did have some concepts that would have upped the bar from Spidey, but politics and budgets resulted in their dropping that ball, which Universal quickly recovered. The resulting attraction is not as engaging as the DisneyQuest Pirates of the Caribbean VR attraction. It’s essentially a 3D version of a typical online video shooter game in a very nicely appointed facility package.

Do you have a budget? Show me for a fact that you know TSM is $80 million? A blind guess, I am sure! Sure, I'm going to just turn over documents to you so I can settle it and convince you. And yes, I have seen budgets. Others too. Perhaps you should read a few more post before blathering on like this? Check out bean's post as well. And as for the building looking bad? You seem to be the only one I know that feels that way. I think it looks great, of course if you don't like Victorian architecture it won't suit you. But if you don't like that style of architecture, then Mainstreet must really look horrible as well.

"FerretAffros, I always like hearing what you have to say, but i have never enjoyed reading your posts as much as i have on this topic." Thanks! I think I've enjoyed writing for this as much as I hope you enjoyed reading it. There was definately plenty to work with! "The resulting attraction is not as engaging as the DisneyQuest Pirates of the Caribbean VR attraction." Really? Have you played the tests for TSMM? I would love to know what you think about it. If you haven't tested it (which I assume is closer to the truth), I would suggest waiting until it opens to declare it being on the same level as a DisneyQuest game.
