But, frankly, I prefer Buzz.<< Really because they didn't theme out the inside of the building a little better, or make your involvement with the screens more 4-d (more than just air tubes shooting at you), this feels like it is just a glorified video game and you really don't need to ride it in order to experience it. Just put it onto a Nintendo at home and it will be the same experience. At least Buzz is 4-d and can't be replicated at home. - Anatole

Originally Posted By Anatole69 The ride vehicle does nothing for the game play except on the final screen when you pass by 4 screens while shooting at targets. All the other screens occur when your vehicle is stationary. The 4-d effects are lame... shooting air and flashing lights does not a ride make. The singing potato head is cool, but is part of the line and not the ride itself. The actual game could have easily taken place in front of flat screens... I really wish they had incorporated better 4-d effects and included animatronics inside the show building itself... that would have really made it feel like more than just a 3-d video game.

It seems like an easy enough change to keep the exact same gameplay, but change the graphics a little for the different seasons. But then again, they said it would be really easy to update Star Tours, and here we are...

Lucas' approval OF that film (the real sticking point).

If the rest of the pier turns out as beautiful as this ride, I'll be spending a lot more of my time at DCA...
