Oh goody! We'll see the return of the black tape then.

    >>And Epcot is still Epcot - I haven't heard any indication that this is going to change.<<

You missed my new EPCOT Center teeshirt photos from a few weeks ago, didn't you? Of course.. wishful thinking here.. as I believe they should return to basics and call the park by it's original and descriptive name: EPCOT Center.

Come on Disney. Unless that extra dollar is going into carbon neutral fund somewhere, this is really pushing the limits of what is reasonable to charge someone for parking. All Disney offers is a vast concrete parking lot where sometimes you can be parked at the end of a row with a walk that takes as long as the tram ride, a tram with no sides or air-conditioning, and the chance to get your cars sides damaged in those ultra narrow parking spots.

    Ugh.

Makes arriving at TTC from the parking lot, similar to arriving to a carnival in the fairgrounds of your local city. Very tacky and quite ugly.

I agree with the principle, I just think the application would appear cluttered. Also don't you think other visitors would feel left out if there were several languages, and theirs were left out. I'm not disagreeing with you. I just don't think severaL languages would be practical.

My guess these signs were fabricated before they had the name change near final, and since they just did work in many areas installed them.

Anyone remember when the pre-fireworks announcements at DL were in English, Spanish AND Japanese? (They don't do the Japanese any more, do they?) I think it's a different thing for an Asian park to post signs in their own language and also in English, and an American park trying to appease every foreign language speaking group that might visit. It's just too much.

    >And you know this because...?<

    Hey, sometimes I know stuff . . .

There are so many more egregious problems across property ... but I'm glad they fixed them.

We really need some local to post pics of problem areas around the entire resort on a regular basis if Disney is going to pay any attention to fixing them. If you wait for them to get around to these items, you might have a very long wait.

I don't know about the fireworks, but I seem to remember that the F! pre-show announcements at DL are in those three languages.

Well, Kevin Yee was doing some of that on a regular basis. There used to be a site called WDW blues that documented this stuff. I could easily spend one day a week just going around documenting bad show but I hate doing stuff like that. I go there to have a good time not take photos of peeling paint. You could practically devote a whole site to the sorry condition of Buzz Lightyear. That ride needs to go down for a rehab and a paint job.

For small minds, I guess it would. But not for me and certainly not for a better customer experience. But that's just me...the believer that true Disney magic should exceed expectations, not just meet them at a minimun level.

Does this mean that they really are considering getting rid of the hat?

Small minds have nothing to do with a cluttered look. Clutter is clutter perod. I realize that some socially progresive people would like to dictate a "We are the World" attitude into WDW, however I just don't think it would work. I just don't think most park goers want to have a U.N. quality to the parks. Now you may think that is being small minded, however I think it's just good old common sense. I prefer not to see billboards in the Parks.
