He LOVED when the now-adults would tell him he said their names on their birthdays. Miss Mary Anne anyone? I LOVED her and my sister and I just about died when we saw her one day at Universal Studios. She gave my sister an autograph.

Then, several years ago, I found one (sealed on card!) at a flea market in Nashville. I still have it to this day. http://www.aaa-multimedia.com/ sixfing.htm (This is not mine, but it's the same toy.)

Down right bizarre at times and you could see JP and the guy that played Gertrude (and every other character) try to crack each other up. I caught on early that Gertrude was a guy. When my mom took us to see JP and Gertrude at an appearance, my mom said I didn't want to go any where near Gertrude. I think I was about 4 or 5.

Anyone from LA remember Engineer Bill?<< Another Ramblin' Rod alum! Although when I was Rod's guest, he had not a single button on his pale blue sweater. Engineer Bill Stulla has twice been a guest at Walt's Barn in Griffith Park. He is in his 90s and absolutely charming.
