He has been with his job for over 20 years now and before that he apprenticed as a machinist and designed furniture. He came out to CA from a rural area in the Mid West. There wasn't money for college or food most of the time - He was determined to learn what he could. If it wasn't for his family life he probably would have went to college - but in the 70's it was better to just get a job and help his mom support his 4 younger siblings.
