We have 3big figs.. Tiki room was our first and then Fantasyland dark rides and lastly the Splash Mtn fig that SeanYoda just got. I've been tempted by others myself.. Stitch big figs or maybe the Tik Toc one with the clock in his mouth.. but I'm ok with the ones we have. They're remarkable and I like them and if anyone asks about them I'm more likely to say isn't it cool than 'yeah whatever' which is the place I'm getting to with all the pins we still have, although we stopped collecting ages ago. I don't enjoy them and can't recall all the stories behind them. TMS syndrome. =) If anyone asks the pins are Sean's. *grin*

I'm loving our Shag stuff though.. we don't have a lot and that's ok. What we have are fun items we picked out because we liked them. I like tiki and lounge stuff so I'm still getting my pleasure from seeing them on display. I'm sure they'll be worth more one day.. but right now they're worth more to me than what I can sell them for on ebay. =)

I'm rambling this morning, yet again. I'm sure I had a point to make somewhere in there. *vbg*

Couldn't agree with you more, I dont really see the point of buying something just because you feel it's going to increase in value at some stage down the line. IMHO it's just going to take up valuable space while it appreciates in price.

I love it when I see a piece for the first time and just fall in love with it. This happend to me with the Olszewski Main St range. Saw them many times online etc and never even considered them as future purchases. Then back in January I walked into the Disneyana shop and saw Main Street Station, jaw dropped and just had to buy it.

Four months later, I'm slowly buying my way up Main Street.

My math is failing me here...It is over three feet tall, close to three feet wide and at least two feet deep...Do you get the idea that I am still in love with this purchase?
