Why are people limiting their own experiences so much? If anyone in Europe can afford a vacation at WDW, the trip to California isn't going to be that much more expensive. And besides DL there is an awful lot to see as well. And DLP really is not difficult to get to for most Western Europeans...

I also don't believe a lot of things ... like say just because something's been blue sky'd and there's artwork and renderings of what something might look like, it does not mean it is happening whether we are speaking of a Frontierland project, a Brazil pavilion for EPCOT, a California-themed hotel/DVC mixed use project or a massive redo of DD with a colorful addition. ~I have an Orange Bird pin ... wanna see it? ... Come closer ... ~

DL's and DLP's are so much more organic because of the stylized facades, paver brick walkways, flowers and landscaping and waterways (moreso at DLP). Even HKDL's has MK's beat on beauty. If it just had one more dark ride (like Pan or Mermaid as it was supposed to have from Day 1), I'd flat out say it is better than MK's because you also have a major show venue with the terrific Golden Mickeys. Thing is, though, MK's Fantasyland (even with the tents) was a much more beautiful place from 1971-1994 when 20,000 Leagues was running. The lagoon and trees and rockwork off-set the concrete jungle (to be fair, there were also more planters that have been removed so the double-wide strollers and ECVs can get thru) ... and even the Skyway provided some kinetics too.
