Personally as a Floridian, I think Soar in over Florida would be really cool. Fly over the keys, the everglades, over fields of sugar cane, strawberries, oranges, out over the beaches, and (how they would accomplish this I don't know) then over Kennedy Space center just as a shuttle is launching, then of course ending over WDW.

<<Bingo-- because they are catering to the remote control TV clicker group that can't keep their mind in one place for more than 2 minutes. It's really sad. Is that why WDW got the shortened version of Potc also - so that people could run on and off ther ride to say they've done it to move on to the next conquest ? Might miss some- another foam head walking by or whatever.>>

So Walt saw the future when he build WDW or was there a TV clicker group back then the park was built?

If you ended the film with a 90 second loop over Florida from the Keys to the Glades to South Beach to even an orange grove and Cape Canaveral before a swoop over WDW, that would be fine.

As to Dave's comment on PoC, it illustrates that people don't know any better. I absolutely thought it was incredible as a kid and young adult. Then I went to Anaheim ... and Paris and it wasn't nearly as impressive anymore.

To be fair, though, MK's PoC is MUCH better than HKDL's version!

I love this Idea.

The giant redwoods, Painted Desert, Grand Canyon, Gateway Arch, New York city around the Statue of Liberty, through DC, off the easts coast to the shuttle launch, then around the WDW landmarks, before soaring over Spaceship Earth back to the Land Pavilion.

I don't know how he made the video but it was done similar to the one in soarin just using different landmarks. I'm surprised Disney hasn't made multiple films already to be changed out periodically. It would be like adding a new ride without near the cost.
