    YIKES!!

    Butterbeer Nutritional Info:

    Quantity: 14 fl. oz.
    Calories: 200
    Fat: 3.5 grams
    Carbs: 42 grams
    Sugar: 29 grams

Three butterbeers is 600 calories, 126 grams of carbohydrates, and 87 grams of sugar. That's a very expensive sugar delivery system.

I'm not sure about the flavor, but I seem to remember Butterbeer being described in one of the books as having a mild alcohol content, significantly less than regular beer - that's why it was okay for the kids to have it.

For all we know, the relative "strength" of Butterbeer has something to do with magic ("regular" alcohol HAS been mentioned in the books, specifically rum). ;)

    Geek...out.
