FP as it is works great. As long as they don't overdo it, and continue to revise it, as they did by taking it off of POTC in DL, then it's a terrific benefit to those willing to use a few working brain cells to figure it out.

I have stated before that I am not interested in purchasing a FP option, and if it was available to others for a nominal fee, then I would not mind standing in line and yielding to those who *paid* for the benefit, since it would only be *fair* to those guests who paid more for a benefit I do not care to participate/pay for at all. That is how I feel about it, and I know this because that is how I have experienced the system at both Universal Orlando and Japan, where I have never purchased the Express booklet, and somehow, even their stand by lines seem to move faster than Disney's. Possibly because not too many people care to pay for this option?

..And Danno, blame it on the beer. It was friday night. Difference is.. you are still unhandsome.

They had this at Six Flags when my buddies and I went up there for a day trip back in sumemr of '04 or so. WE LOVED IT! An extra $0 for the three of us, and we got to bypass the lines for the coasters. HECK, YEAH! We loved it!

We didn't get it at first figuring it'd be a waste, then after waiting for about 45 minutes to ride Titan and seeing foks with this little gizmo going right up to the frotn of the line - we immediately went to the place we could get it and picked it up. Saved us quite a bit of time during the day - we got to ride all the coasters multiple times! :)

If that is true, you shouldn't have used the misleading title "Unlimited FastPass -- for purchase."

Two things.. A) with me? you will never know danno, and B) I have seen your pic and trust me... I much rather mate with a palm tree if you were the last man on Earth.

See?!? An intelligent Texan at last!!
All of a sudden, paying for FP benefits is a good idea.. Only one catch. At Universal, you can only jump to the front of the line ONCE per attraction, or else, it would be extremely unfair to guests standing by.

    <

then my GOD, Annual passes are the anti-Christ and totally unfair.

If one comes in at 6 pm and paid $60 - that was THEIR choice...

when the bell rings at 8 AM - everyone has an equal chance - I have yet to see a 'fairer' system....

Count me among those who does get up at the crack of dawn when on my Disney vacation. I love every minute until I crash at 11pm.

But there probably are people in the world who simply are here to enjoy the day, in a manner less clock oriented than their homebound workaday world.

Maybe they enjoy spending the first few hours of the day at their resort hotel, enjoying a breakfast at riverside.

For those people, "when the bell rings at 8 AM" is anaethema.

What you're telling me is that those people have "chosen" to give up any FP's that they might have gotten, because they didn't get up and join the rush.

    Exactly.

I'm not anti-FP, or anti-AP, not at all. I'm trying to find ways to make it more fair.

My definition of "fair" does not include "Get your bucket out of bed and join the rush." For others, it does. Usually the one's who are early risers, and can't understand why there are people who are not.

TDLFAN -- How does the lotto system at TDL work for groups? Or is it just individual by individual?
