Now, back to the violence in "Up."

Heh, STIL, I love the blender scene. That kid had great comic timing for his age.

I mean, really, don't be so whiny about cartoon "violence."

Anywho, Up was amazingly heart-warming in every sense of the word. The beginning is a REAL tear-jerker, and as the movie progresses it get's easier and easier to cope with. It really hit home with me because a relative recently passed, and my family celebrated her life. We would do things that we think they would want to do. I feel Up really highlights that emotional factor. Up really was a great movie, and after defending it so much I can only realize it was such a great movie. I'd let any child who can sit in a seat for 2 hours watch it, it's just that good. It ranks with Monster's and Wall-E in my book. A sort of 4th best Pixar film for me.

Can't wait for Blu Ray release! Up is a movie for people of all ages! Go see it (especially if 3D is at your theater)!!!

I think there should be some UP action figures...and ones that can actually move their limbs and stand on their own legs (coughBowlerHatGuycough)

    Here's my idea:

    CARL
-Tennis ball cane, Picture of Old Ellie, Adventure Book and Balloon House A

    RUSSELL
-GPS, backpack and Balloon House B

    DUG
-Cone of Shame and Balloon House C

    KEVIN
-Chocolate bar, chicks and Balloon House D

    ALPHA, BETA & GAMMA
    -Bones and Balloon House E

    CHARLES F. MUNTZ
-Cane, net and Balloon House F; if shotgun is allowed, then put net in the Dog Three-Pack

The 6 House pieces form to make one Balloon House :)

And then we can have the Balloon House and Muntz Zeppelin action playsets; Both open up to reveal secret rooms, trapdoors, laser cannons, elevators and Barbie Ferrari, er, shaved ice maker. Figures sold separately. By Mattel.

Actually, I can see being driven crazy by it as an adult. I grew up with it, and love it to this day. My kids love it too. It's in the tradition of those old Wonderful World of Disney shows with treasure hunting and escaping the bad guys. Good times.

I never picked up on it until a few years ago, myself. I wasn't sheltered, but you hear the name so many times you miss the double entendre.
