My mom took my little sister, after I had already moved out, what do you think happend??? Uh....she got picked! Too bad none of these Goofballs ever watched the shows and know how to WIN!!!! I would like to go befor my Mom passes away. She still watches that show, I am a stay home mom now and sometimes she call me and says " are you watching this lady, shes won everything!"

Just some minor additions to that almost perfect story:

You forgot the part about the door opening up after the announcer yells "A NEW CAR!!!" The biggest kerplunk you ever heard tell of shook the audience, and the Barker Babe just about got knocked on her keester. The door opened to reveal......a great big dent on the front of the car. The big sliding showcase door opened into it. It wasn't lined up correctly or something. Boy, what a noise that made. And in true Hollywood style, they just had the Vanna-Gal scooch over in front of the dent to hide it. That was hilarious!!

And, You also forgot to advise the nice folks of LP to not bring anyone with them who is impatient and complains constantly. (IE: Your uncle)

Oh, and by the way, they did call your name. But you had gone to pee ;)

And did you know that my hubby was on Jeapardy about 10 years ago...and won?! Do you know that they have a policy that prevents anyone from going on again as long as Alex Trebeck is hosting? Talk about a rip off! He could be on that show as long as Bob Barker has been on TPIR!

I so forgot about the dented car because it really made me mad, thanks for the reminder, sis! See, they did what they could to quickly cover it up, then when the game finished and it was a break, they filmed an insert edit and had the Barker Babe do a quick re-shoot of the door slide and shot a quick look at the car with her near the top away from the dent.

But did they explain this to the touristy audience? NO! So so one knew what was going on. The guy to my right knew I was in the industry so he asked and I explained what an insert edit was and he was so impressed. See, they could have done that with the whole audience to make them feel like they learned something to go tell the folks at home. At least it would be something for the 4 am wake-up.

    And I blew it.

The show aired two weeks ago. It was filmed on a Thursday and it aired the following Wednesday. I got my dates wrong and thought it was for the following week and I forgot to tape it. :(

The friend said "yes, I'm going to China with her". The winner said the show would air on May 15th. Sure enough, I tuned in on May 15th (I don't normally watch but DH does) and there she was; winner of both showcases!
