I've heard that excuse used before, and I don't buy it. If it being a real working studio interferes with it being a theme park and makes it a lesser theme park, then maybe they ought not to have created the so-called theme park

Paging JeffG, paging JeffG, white courtesy phone, please.

Anyone remember that Sliders episode where the escalator went up to comercial land?? Have you ever tried walking up the stairs? Every once in awhile I do it is really hard work. >>>

A few years ago, we were going up the escalators and reading our park guide, realizing that the final showing of Waterworld was going to start in about 5 minutes. I got the bright idea about half-way up that we could make better time if we switched to the stairs and sprinted up. That idea lasted all of about 60 seconds before we had to stop and catch our breath. We missed the show.

This, more than anything else, stood out to me the last time I was there. It made the park feel much more like a themed mall rather than a theme park.
